Ken is determined that every child who needs a family will have one and that the adoption process be made easier for prospective parents. Ken has two children, the youngest of whom is adopted. Ken joined the Center in 2005 after 14 years as executive director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Chris has more than twenty-five years of experience in child-welfare, and is a subject matter expert in foster care adoption. She manages all programs for the National Adoption Center/Adoption Center of Delaware Valley. Christine has successfully led, managed and supervised the program teams of the Center. Her experience includes design and implementation of programs to recruit and retain prospective adoptive families for the most challenging older youth in foster care. Christine created strategies for the Center’s match event programs that enhance the potential for relationship building between older youth and attending families. She created an activity for these events, Everyone Has a Voice, providing youth with the unique opportunity to express their hopes and dreams for the future. Christine is focused on evidence based outcomes for the programs of the Center and stresses the importance of feedback from the youth and their social workers for all program activities. She has created strong, lasting partnerships and collaborations with other child welfare organizations in the Greater Delaware Valley.
Christine holds a BA in psychology and is an adoptive parent.
Director of Communications
With more than 35 years of experience in child welfare, Gloria brings to the Center a robust background as an award-winning journalist and best-selling author. She is the winner of 27 writing awards and is author of three books, one of which was on the New York Times best-seller list for three months. She writes newspaper and magazine articles, and handles the Center’s media program, moderates special events, appears frequently on radio and television and is responsible for the Center’s informational materials.
Manager, Online Presence
Alexandra has more than 15 years of experience in emerging technology. From building websites to accompany college texts to developing online testing and training, she has seen the positive application of technology-based tools. She leads and manages all of the Center’s web-based initiatives. Alexandra holds a BS in physics from the University of Rhode Island, an MS in communications from Drexel University and an MBA in sustainable business from Green Mountain College.
Anna Coleman  WWK Coordinator for New Jersey. Anna has had experience working with children for the past five years. Having worked as a camp counselor, therapeutic support staff (TSS), classroom counselor, and serving as a youth leader at her church, she is passionate about improving the overall quality of life for children. She serves as a Wendy's Wonderful Kids recruiter in New Jersey and focuses on children waiting to be adopted. Anna graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is currently in graduate school at Eastern University pursing degree in Urban Studies with a concentration in youth development.
Dominique McFadden WWK Coordinator for Delaware. Dominique has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Family and Child Welfare and is attending Chestnut Hill University to obtain a Masters in Administration of Human Service. Her undergraduate studies inspired her to want to work directly with families and children by advocating for their needs. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and 6 years of experience in the Child Welfare area. Prior to starting work in Child Welfare she was a Child Care Director. She also works part-time in New Jersey as a Family Service Worker.
Taylor Rotolo, MSW Wednesday’s Child Coordinator & Adoption Coordinator. Taylor is an experienced social worker dedicated to social justice and personal wellness. She is passionate about creating and supporting community and family connections. She values and celebrates our multitudes of difference as they enrich our world and approaches her work with humility, gratitude, and a critical perspective on equity and change.
