Hardworking, personable and polite, Michael has a friendly smile that can light up a room. He likes playing football and soccer. Michael is very bright and enjoys learning.
When he is not swimming or playing soccer, Michael enjoys reading science fiction novels and drawing action figures. He has a big appetite; he enjoys his fruits and vegetables as much as a nice hearty hamburger.

Jowelle
Soft-spoken Jowelle is such an active teenage girl.
She is well known in her school, due to being on the middle school's field hockey, basketball, cheer leading, and softball teams! Though her extra-curricular activities keep her busy, Jowelle still manages to earn great grades and is on the honor roll. Right now, Jowelle thinks she would like to be a lawyer when she grows up, and is ready to work hard for this goal.
Jowelle is doing very well in her foster home. She basks in receiving adult attention and praise. Her foster mother reports that she has no behavior problems at home or at school.
Jowelle wants and needs a family that will ensure that she can have continued contact with her sisters. She enjoys talking to her sisters on the phone. Jowelle is expected to flourish in a home that will shower her with love.
Jowelle is an affectionate girl whose dream is to become a teacher when she grows up.

Carmen
Carmen is such an energetic teen! His favorite activities include baseball, football, bike riding, and fishing. Because he is on both the football and wrestling teams, Carmen is well known at school! Carmen also likes NASCAR and country music. Recently, he found a new hobby - gardening. He loves to help his foster mother in their yard out back.
Carmen has some learning difficulties. In school he receives special education services and does well in small classes with more individual attention. Last year his academic achievements earned him the Most Improved Student of the Year award.
The ideal home for Carmen would be a two-parent family that would provide the structure and supervision he needs. It would be best if he is the youngest or only child. Carmen is a great kid, who needs a forever family to guide him through his teen years and into a strong, successful young man.

Edie
Edie is a bright and bubbly young girl. She enjoys riding her bike, skating, and just about every outdoor activity! Edie is also quickly learning to master the violin.
Edie does extremely well in school. She is an excellent student and is enrolled in the accelerated program, taking advanced classes such as Orchestra and Honors Math.
Edie has a strong bond with her brother and it would be best for these siblings to maintain contact. She would love a family who is very active and enjoys outings as a family. Edie has a positive and energetic personality and wishes for a family, and home, to call her own.

Anthony
Anthony is a very polite young man who loves to play basketball and perform karaoke.
Anthony's favorite hobby is drawing. He especially loves to draw super heroes. His favorite super hero is Batman.
Anthony plans on attending an art school after his high school graduation.

Empress & Kayla
A great big sister, Empress, is a typical teenage girl. She is very social and has many friends. Empress enjoys fashion, make-up, and hair accessories. She loves to hang out with her friends at the mall, in the neighborhood, or at school as often as she can. She also likes talking on the phone, and chatting with her friends on Facebook. All this social activity doesn't stop Empress from doing great in school. In fact, she earns all A's!
Kayla is another very social girl who likes to stay active. She participates in drama, track, and cheer leading. Though Kayla sometimes struggles in school, she does enjoy the social aspect of it, and looks forward to high school next year. Kayla lives with her big sister in a foster home. They attend church weekly, and also attend counseling. The two sisters also have a mentor with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.
These amazing girls need a Forever Family that will adopt them both. Their family should also be willing to allow the girls to keep in contact with their two younger sisters, who will shortly be adopted by another family.

Shemar
Shemar is a sweet and sometimes shy boy, with a love of automobiles! He loves anything that moves: cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses. He enjoys spending time with his foster family doing projects and family activities. Shemar is in 2nd grade and receives special education. He loves going to school and thrives on the structure it provides. Socially, he is a little behind his peers, but he loves making friends and playing with his classmates.
Shemar needs a family that can provide him with structure and stability. His family needs to help support him in school and in continuing his mental health counseling. Shemar is a sweet boy who needs a Forever Family to give him all the love he deserves!
