Celebration of Family
The Celebration of Family was held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Please Touch Museum. This year we honored Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, a former National Adoption Center Board Member and current member of its Advisory Board. Rev. Dr. Marshall-Blake has a long and rich history of supporting the Center and its mission to find permanent loving families for our most vulnerable children.
The evening was filled with fun an laughter. There were Cocktails and a Silent Auction and this was followed by a sit down dinner, a Live Auction and entertainment. Both the video presentation and the singing provided by Emily Shick were moving. Thanks to Emily, her pianist, and Rachel who made the video, for sharing their artistic talents with us all.
